Hopefully, you all are enjoying this warmer weather we are having. Here are some additional updates for the next few weeks.
LTR
Our first 2 LTR groups have finished their sessions and are now starting to join member rows. To help ease the process of integrating LTR participants into becoming members, coaches will create crew boats blending together LTR participants with existing members where they see fit. We appreciate your patience and flexibility.
Henley Announcement
We’re excited to share that coaches Caitlin, Sally and Aidan have been selected to race at the Henley Royal Regatta on the Thames in England this year! This is a fantastic opportunity for them, and we are so proud to have such high-calibre coaches at False Creek.
Because these coaches will be away for an extended period of time at Henley, we have had to adjust our programming a little, and member rows will look slightly different until their return in mid-July. Our coaches will be encouraging more crew boats during rows to support safety. Additionally, some Member rows may be capped at 8 individuals based on coaching availability. With this in mind, please make sure to remove your name if you can no longer attend a row!
You may continue to come down if the cap has been reached for those rowers who have been approved to row independently. If you would like to be agreed to row independently, please ask one of the coaches before June 10!
