We are pleased to offer a brand new summer junior program for youth aged 13-18 years old! The program is a great opportunity for youth to get out on the water, work as a team, and learn a new sport.
We will be running seven week-long introductory camps for up to 11 participants each, and will offer ongoing programming for graduates of the introductory camps to improve teamwork, balance, fitness, and rowing skills.
Introductory Summer Camps
Ages: 13-18, no experience required
Cost: $335 including all fees
Monday-Friday, 10:00am – 1:00pm
Requirements: must be able to swim, carry 30lbs
What will we do?
- Mechanics and ergonomics of a rowing stroke
- Learn how to row on a rowing machine and out on the water
- Learn how to steer
- Learn safety while out on the water
- Row in a variety of different boats
- Explore and enjoy the false creek waterway
- Have fun!

Summer Programming for Experienced Youth
Ages: 13-18 that are graduates of our summer program, or youth with experience rowing already
Cost: $240 including all fees (pro-rated depending on join date)
Tuesdays and Thursdays, 8:30am – 10:30am
July 11 – August 31
Requirements: must be able to swim, carry 30lbs
